FOREST_SOCIETY is a work developed as a final project for the Master in Sound Art attended at the 

UB, Barcelona, in 2015.

 

Having as a basis a series of interviews-conversations recorded in 2009 with some of the 

homeless-people who lived in the streets of Lisbon (series called "Converas de Rua"), the new work proposes to give answers to the question "what is home? and what does it mean to "feel home"? 

The work aims to approach and disclose how people live their relationship and the intersection between the private and public space, in the urban context or in connection with the nature they are part of.

FOREST_SOCIETY  plays poetically with the metaphor that transfigures Individuals into Plants and Society into a Forest...
