"RETRATOS DE UM DIA DE PESCA"

is a photographic tribute to Ibo Island's fishermen and to the village itself.

The opportunity of taking part in the fishing moment, which is so important in daily life, permitted me to come a little bit closer to Ibo's inhabitants and to myself.

A year after taking the photos, I returned looking for who hosted and included me, hoping to be able to pay them homage.

“Retratos de um dia de pesca” è um trabalho fotográfico em homenagem aos pescadores  do Ibo e à sua aldeia.  Poder participar no momento da pesca, tão importante na vida quotidiana, tem me permitido conhecer um pouco mais sobre a realidade das pessoas que aqui vivem e sobre mim mesma.

Um ano depois de tirar as fotos, voltei à procura de quem me hospedou na esperança de lhe poder prestar uma homenagem."
