MAREMOTO is the third chapter of the Trilogy IMPERMANENCE

presented in the format of essay in “EspaçoEmprestado” (a studio- living-space that has allowed the experience of daily co-existence with the works developed).

MAREMOTO is a reflection on an abstraction;
on the idea of Intimacy projected in a spatial dimension.

 

Intimacy intended as a movement of relationship, a search, a navigation whose coordinates settle in a space of vulnerability and subjectivity.

​

Intimacy outlined by its prerequisites which are the disposition for an honest sharing, confrontation and dialogue.

A sort of “state of compromise and commitment” agreed first of all by the individual within himself, and eventually, in a second moment extended towards the outside.

​

Intimacy as a state therefore difficult to define, describe and circumscribe.

Intimacy as impulse of creativity and decadence, life and death; as shadow corrupted by sparkles of light or vice-versa.

​

An experience that can be lived both on a material and an abstract level.

​
